FIP is a private international pre-school. FIP is a self owning, non-profit association located in Bydel Frogner, in the west-central district of Oslo.

Our mission statement is as follows: FIP provides a high-quality education which caters for the whole child. Children feel safe and supported. They are confident to express their curiosity and ideas and feel valued as individuals. We encourage children to grow in a warm, welcoming environment where they believe in themselves, respect diversity and care for the world around them.

Our opening hours are from 08:00 - 16:30. (latest pick up time is 16:20 to allow for dressing).

The teaching core day is from 08:30- 15:15. FIP has three classes; Nursery, Pre School 1 and Pre School 2. The instructional and working language is English.

Early Birds Club is open to all three classes from 08:00 - 08:30 . After School Club is open to all three classes from 15:15 - 16:30 (16:20). The student and staff population represent many different nationalities. 

FIP offer a stimulating environment where young children can develop their social skills and be involved in a wide range of pre-school activities. You will find the Year Plan under the Pre-School Program menu.

FIP's academic program is based Early Years Foundation Stage from England and Wales (EYFS), and incorporates the Norwegian National Framework for Kindergartens (Rammeplanen).
