Important: All applicants MUST apply directly to FIP and to www.oslo.kommune.no in order for FIP to consider your child/children for admission.

We always recommend that families apply to additional kindergartens if your family is reliant on child care as places at FIP are limited.

FIP has 48 students divided into 3 classes according to birth year.

Nursery has 14 students, Pre School 1 and Pre School 2 have 17 students each. Each class has 1 qualified teacher and a 1 teaching assistant.

FIP is an International Pre-School. Please familiarise yourself with our academic calendar, opening hours and the structure of our FIP before you apply. For applications for August 2022, the application deadline is 1st March 2022. This is our main admissions intake period. However, FIP also admits children all year round as and when vacancies arise.

Please note: If, while waiting for a place at FIP you accept an offer from another kindergarten, you MUST RE-APPLY  through the Oslo Kommune system in order to be visible on the FIP waiting list.

FIP considers families who choose FIP as their no.1 choice. Please refer to the FIP Charter for admissions priorities.

For information about our curriculum, please read our Year Plan. The FIP teaching core day is 08:30 - 15:00 Clubs are available before and after school 08:00 - 08:30 and 15:00- 16:30.
